“When a woman enters the labyrinth of recovery she follows a twisting, turning, winding path to her center where she reclaims her inner authority. Finding the essence of who she is as a woman, she exits the labyrinth, integrating this vision with a new way of being in the world.”

- Dr. Anita Johnston, Ph.D.

You already have everything you need.

My goal is to help you uncover your own inner power.

MY BELIEFS

You have a unique set of powers and skills that exist to keep you safe, connected, and happy. Negative core beliefs like “I am not enough” or “I’m not capable” are often the root cause of ongoing disorder and dis/ease. These negative beliefs keep you from accessing and utilizing your innate inner power and from believing that change and growth are possible. In our work together, I will support you to identify and reshape your negative core beliefs, build resilience and confidence, and create a life of your choosing.

MY APPROACH

I strive to understand and address the full person - mind, body, and spirit.

It’s often easier to identify the assets and liabilities of others, but difficult to recognize them within yourself. As you therapist, I will be there to “hold the mirror up,” in order to identify what you want to change, why, and most importantly how.

WHAT BEING A THERAPIST MEANS TO ME

I consider it a privilege to walk beside people on their healing journeys.

I know that therapy can lead to many positive outcomes, but I also understand that the process can be scary and uncomfortable at times. For this reason, I hold a deep respect for my clients and their courage and commitment.
